About
Happy Valley Bonsai Club (HVBC) is a non-profit, common-interest community group of bonsai enthusiasts in central Pennsylvania, United States. Our primary aims are the continual development of members’ knowledge and skills, as well as sharing the beauty and practice of bonsai with the broader community – YOU.
Activities
- Practicing & learning bonsai techniques together at our monthly meetings.
- Welcoming the general public to our meetings.
- Assisting bonsai beginners in learning & applying basic techniques.
- Holding special presentations & workshops delivered by bonsai artists.
- Bring-your-own-tree (BYOT) discussion sessions.
- Sharing information about other bonsai organizations, resources & events.
- Coordinating public exhibits of members’ bonsai.

Meetings & Membership
We meet on the last Sunday of every month (except no meeting August and December) from 2–4 pm, at the Art Alliance of Central PA Gallery, 824 Pike St, Lemont, Pennsylvania 16851, USA, or other locations or times as announced to members. See specific events listed on our Facebook page.
The public is welcome to freely visit our meetings.

If you would like to join HVBC, 2024 annual membership dues rates are $24 individual or $36 family. Bring check to meeting, payable to “Happy Valley Bonsai Club.” After March, dues are prorated to $2/month individual or $3/month family for remaining months in calendar year.
